Welcome

The loss or compromise of any of the critical element of the national infrastructure could have a major and detrimental impact on the national wellbeing and possibly lead to severe economic and social impact.

We take for granted the ability to switch a light on, get running water from a tap, or being able to pick the phone up and make a call. These and the other vital services form the backbone to the fabric of our lives and could so easily be lost for periods of time through acts of terrorism. Securing and protecting the national infrastructure is a vital prerequisite in maintaining resilient services in the event of a major terrorist attack.

About CNi

CNi now in its third year first ran in June 2010 at Excel in London and attracted over 200 delegates. For 2011 CNi joined its sister event, the award winning Counter Terror Expo at the Grand Hall, Olympia, London where it attracted over 250 delegates. The conference will once again return to Olympia to run alongside Counter Terror Expo on the 25 - 26 April 2012.

The major two day conference examines the threat, weighs up the issues and debates both the current and future needs in the vital areas of securing and protecting key areas of energy, water, food, finance, communications, transport, health, emergency services and governance, delivering insight into best practice answers to the threats each faces.

This is the conference for senior resilience, risk and security directors to engage with Government policy makers, academic leaders and industry experts on the current and future thinking of the threats and risks facing National Infrastructure.
